It finally hit me that I will be without my friends next year.
I wish you all nothing but the best. Much love.

Hmmm...last night was fun.
My favorite part would have to have been when everyone busted out bohemian rhapsody by queen. Good times.

I am facing a life changing decision right now and it is very frustrating. So what does one do when facing a life changing decision?…one turns to one’s livejournal and the trusted livejournal community to help one decide.
Here are the Choices: University of San Diego vs. Contract at University of Southern California
Here are the Rules of the USC Contract: I must complete 18 units and earn straight A’s in order to be admitted in Spring 2005, or I must complete 30 units with a 3.0 and nothing less than a C in order to be admitted in Fall 2005.
Here are the USD Pros & Cons: + in San Diego giving me an opportunity to discover a whole new town + it’s beautiful - it’s private and catholic (which is what I have had for the last 7 years) + right off of Mission Bay + San Diego is awesome + good education + it’s small (about 5,000 undergraduates) - it’s small (only 5,000 undergraduates) + I can go in fall to start my freshman year there - because of it’s small size: fewer opportunities education/social wise + safe area - no sports
Here are the USC Pros & Cons: + the ideal college for me - bad area + unlimited number of opportunities education/social wise - have to give up part of summer to fulfill contract - have to spend first semester at a JC to fulfill contract - possibly spend whole freshman year at a JC + as a contract student I am not guaranteed on campus housing + part of the pac-10 and pretty damn good (at least at football) + great education + known for it’s prestige -don’t go away to college come fall + they apparently take care of their alumni + the Annenberg (I am majoring in communications)
Here is the Rant: USC is my ideal college, I go there and kids are studying on the grassy lawns or tossing Frisbees to each other, it is what I have always imagined college life to be. Plus, it is an amazing school that is known for its academics, when you walk away with a USC degree people are impressed. But in order to go to USC I have to give up some of my last summer with my friends in order to take classes and do well in them, and come fall when everyone goes away I am stuck here longer to take classes. This isn’t even considering the fact that I may not be able to get straight A’s, in which case I miss out on an entire “freshman year experience.” It’s almost a gamble because I don’t know if I will be able to complete the contract by spring, and if I don’t there goes my whole freshman year. So all of that leads me to USD. I want to go to USD because it’s the easy choice, I go in fall without doing anything, I can’t seem to ignore that. Also, I love San Diego and the idea of going down there and making a life for myself in a whole new city completely separate from the life I have here. But USD is small and the kids don’t study on the grass or toss Frisbees to each other. So basically my decision comes down to this…
I would most likely be happy at either one, but do I gamble for what I really want, or do I settle for something that is almost as good.

Tahoe was quite an experience. It consisted of a 10 hour bus ride right next to the bathroom, pussoy, in-n-out, snowboarding, more pussoy, snowball fights, halo, karate championship videos (don't ask), even more pussoy...oh, and getting hit in the face with the ski lift.
Don't worry though, besides losing a few IQ points and my dignity...I am fine.
